How It Works
When ACP places an order on Weather Hold, Premium Tracking creates a temporary shipment experience with the status:
Info Received – Weather Hold
Weather Hold records are created in Premium Tracking nightly between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM, allowing your notification workflow to proactively update customers while their order remains safely at the warehouse.
Customers can view a customized tracking page explaining why their order is being held and what options may be available.
Your communications can invite customers to:
✅ Wait for safer shipping conditions
✅ Upgrade to temperature-controlled shipping
✅ Approve shipping despite the weather risk
✅ Contact your team to discuss other options
The messaging is customizable, so you can shape the experience around your policies, services, and brand voice.
Customers can contact your team by phone or email to coordinate any changes. When notifications are sent from a verified Premium Tracking email address, customers may also reply directly to the message.
Once the order is released for fulfillment, the temporary Weather Hold experience gives way to the actual shipment and carrier tracking information.
