When ACP places an order on Weather Hold, a smart placeholder shipment is created in Premium Tracking.
Customers see a tracking page with the status “Info Received – Weather Hold”, along with a clear message that their order is safely waiting out extreme temperatures.
Communications can include options to:
✅ Wait for safer shipping conditions
✅ Upgrade to temperature-controlled shipping
✅ Approve shipping anyway
✅ And more! Your imagination is the limitation.Your customer can reach out via email or phone to coordinate any changes offered, if applicable
Bonus! If you have a verified email used in Premium Tracking then your customer can simply reply to the notification.
Once the order is released for packing, the placeholder disappears and the real shipment takes its place — keeping everything neat and confusion-free.
