✒️Inkwell Release – ACP Notes

The Inkwell Release brings thoughtful refinements and powerful controls designed to keep ACP running smoothly as order volume and complexity grow. From improved order visibility to long-requested flexibility in Rule Center, these updates focus on clarity, stability, and time saved.
Here’s what’s new:
📦 Order Item Limit (250 Items Max)
To prevent system slowdowns and timeouts on extremely large orders, ACP now limits orders to a maximum of 250 line items.
This change ensures orders process reliably and consistently across all workflows.
✅ Why it matters: Improves system stability and performance, helping orders move through ACP without delays or processing errors.
🚚 New Order Sub-Status – In Progress: Departed Warehouse
During peak periods, we noticed a common pain point: orders were closed out by the warehouse, but carriers hadn’t yet scanned them — leaving clients unsure if shipments were truly on the move.
The new In Progress – Departed Warehouse status fills that gap by confirming the order has completed warehouse processing and has officially left for carrier handoff (ship confirm).
✅ Why it matters: Provides clearer shipment visibility during high-volume periods and reduces uncertainty while waiting for the first carrier scan.
🔁 Re-Run Orders Through Rules
Forgot to set up rules before importing orders? You’re no longer stuck.
You can now create or update Order Rules after orders are imported and re-run existing orders through those rules. This makes it easy to apply automation retroactively without manual cleanup.
✅ Why it matters: A highly requested feature that gives you flexibility and forgiveness — saving time, reducing rework, and keeping order management efficient even when things change.
