DTC Permits

You can manage your Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) state permit information directly within ACP.

Adding and maintaining accurate permit data:

• Reduces compliance holds

• Prevents shipping delays

• Improves collaboration with Wineshipping

Only users with Admin access can manage DTC Permits.

States Requiring Permit Information

Wineshipping requires license information for shipments into the following states:

• AL (Shipping to an ABC store is approved if no permit exists)

• IL

• KS

• LA (Permit not required, but Wineshipping must report to LA)

• ME

• MS

• NH

• ND

• OH

• TN

• WI

If an order is submitted to one of these states without a valid permit:

• The order will move to Needs Action in the Action Center

• A permit exception will be triggered
