There are multiple notification status' available for a notification. Here are the definitions of what each one means:

Successful

Failure

Dropped: A notification marked as "dropped" usually means that the message or notification was intentionally not delivered or was discarded by the system, often due to specific conditions or rules.
- Email: Emails will typically start getting “dropped” if a user has previously bounced, unsubscribed, or reported the email as spam
- Webhook: If the WS server fails authentication requirements the status update will drop
Bounced: A "bounced" notification typically refers to a situation where a message or email was unable to be delivered to the recipient and was returned (or "bounced back") to the sender. This can happen due to several reasons, such as:
- Invalid email address or phone number.
- The recipient’s inbox is full or temporarily unavailable.
- The recipient’s email server rejected the message due to spam filtering or other issues.
Exception: A retry system detected a failure on the webhook URL and received an error, it will retry until its successful. Only for Webhook notification.
Failed: Received an error. Only for Webhook notification.
Canceled
- Webhook: URL needs to be updated.
- SMS: If an automated message was not sent, its log status will show as either Cancelled or Failed.

Waiting

Created: When a webhook request is created. Only for Webhook notification.
Queued: When an initial request is not delivered the following request keep in the queued state.
Scheduled: When we schedule a notification to be delivered at a certain time.
