How To: Read Order History Details

The Order History provides a complete audit trail of an order’s lifecycle within the Wineshipping system.

Each event log shows:

  • What happened

  • When it happened

  • Who or what triggered it (User, API, System, D365, Carrier)

Events are displayed from most recent to oldest.


How to Access Order History

  1. Click the Order Number to open order details.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

  3. Review the Order Event History section.

Pro Tip: Always check the date and time of each event to understand sequence and current order status.

Order is Created via

Order Created Via

Indicates how the order entered ACP:

  • API

    • Including: direct API or integration (Commerce7, Shopify, etc)

  • Manual entry

  • File import

This helps determine where to troubleshoot if issues occur.

Exception

Any exception encountered (Needs Action, Inventory, Data) will appear in order history.

Use this to confirm:

  • When the exception occurred

  • When it was resolved

At this stage, the order remains in Needs Action status.

Fulfillment Hold

Fulfillment Hold

Indicates the order was placed on fulfillment hold:

  • Manually by a user

  • Automatically through Fulfillment Preferences

The order will not proceed until the hold is released.

  • At this stage, the order remains in Fulfillment Hold status.

Cut Off Adjustment

Occurs when the order was imported, released, and published after warehouse cutoff time

Result:

  • The Expected Pack Date is adjusted.

  • The Original Requested Ship Date (RSD) remains visible in ACP.

Published to the Warehouse

This event occurs in two phases:

Phase One – Queued for Publishing

  • The order has been staged and is waiting to publish to D365.

  • At this stage, the order remains in Received – Queued Publishing status.

Phase Two – Published to Warehouse

  • The order has been successfully transmitted to D365 and is available for warehouse processing.

  • At this stage, the order remains in Received - Published status.


Publishing Timing Rules

Orders are published to the warehouse within 14 days of the Requested Ship Date (RSD).

If the Requested Ship Date is more than 14 days in the future, the order will remain in:

Received – Queued Publishing

The order will automatically publish once it enters the 14-day window prior to the Requested Ship Date.
