Updates for JIT orders

The JIT inventory barcode layout has been updated

The JIT inventory barcode design updates include the following:

  1. Improved spacing and font sizing for better readability.

  2. Two new summary values now appear below the item table:

    1. Total Items - the sum of quantities for all items on the order

    2. Total Wine Items - the sum of quantities for items categorized as Wine.

  3. Orders that include an Ice Pack now display a visual marker to the left of the service type icon

  4. Wineshipping/WS mentions have been removed from the right page

Separate JIT order creation tiles

The order creation flow in the Action Center now offers two distinct tiles for JIT orders - one for Full Service and one for Pre-Pack.

When creating a new JIT order via either tile, the Service Type is automatically pre-selected. When modifying existing JIT orders, the Service Type field remains editable and can be adjusted as necessary.

Separate order tiles for pre-pack and full-service JIT orders

Both tiles reflect the account's JIT channel status - if JIT is disabled for the account, both tiles are disabled; if enabled, both are available.

Both full-service and pre-pack JIT order tiles are disable if the JIT order channel is not available for the account

Physical Bundles updates

The grouping logic for physical bundles has been added. Now separate order lines are no longer summed/merged during publishing and bundle-related Group values are now assigned using an alphabetical sequence per order (A, B, C…).

Physical Bundle exception (with the following details in the exception message “This order exceeds the physical bundle limit or contains duplicate items. To ensure correct packing, please split this into separate orders based on the following rules: maximum 1 physical bundle per order; standalone items or items from virtual bundles cannot match items already included in a physical bundle.”) has been removed from ACP and is no longer triggered.

Example of groups for order lines in D365

If the same physical bundle appears on the order with quantity greater than 1, each physical bundle is represented as a separate grouped set of order lines. Example: if Bundle1 contains Item1 and Item2, and the quantity of Bundle1 on the order is 3, the resulting order lines will be:

  1. Item1 - group A

  2. Item2 - group A

  3. Item1 - group B

  4. Item2 - group B

  5. Item1 - group C

  6. Item2 - group C

Inventory movements validation updates

Previously, users were only able to enter contact information details during the creation of an Incoming Request but could not modify them. Now, this information is available for editing while the movement remains in an Open status.

Contact information (First and Last Name, Email, Phone Number) can not be updated for Incoming Requests

Updates for Sidekick DTT orders

Delivery date selection and order publishing logic for OCA1 orders

Updated the delivery date selection experience for Sidekick DTT orders routed through the OCA1 carrier service (remote delivery areas). Since delivery dates cannot be guaranteed for these areas due to extended scheduling timelines, the UI now provides a simplified date selection flow.

Also, OCA1 Sidekick DTT orders are now published when the selected delivery date is less than 14 days away from the order creation date.

Order documents for Sidekick DTT orders

A new Order Documents tab is now available in the order details view for Sidekick DTT orders in ACP. Users can preview and download delivery-related documents - such as Proof of Delivery and Delivery Photos - directly from the order details interface.
