Onboarding - ShipCompliant Passthrough Account
Wineshipping partners with Sovos ShipCompliant to create a passthrough (Level 1) account for certain workflows.
A passthrough account does not perform order compliance checks. It allows orders to route through ShipCompliant without compliance validation.
This setup must be requested through Wineshipping.
Required Action
Download the attached onboarding file and complete the required fields.
You must complete the following tabs:
Winery Setup
User Login Setup
eCommPOS Setup
Product Import Examples
Do not skip any required fields in these tabs, as incomplete submissions will delay account creation.
Wineshipping Responsibility
The Fulfillment Location Setup tab will be completed by Wineshipping.
Do not modify this tab.
After Submission
Once the completed file is returned:
Wineshipping will submit the request to ShipCompliant.
ShipCompliant will create the passthrough account.
Wineshipping will notify you once setup is complete.
No configuration should be attempted in ShipCompliant until confirmation is received.
What This Account Does Not Do
A passthrough (Level 1) account:
Does not validate compliance
Does not perform tax calculations
Does not replace a fully configured compliance account
It is used only for approved passthrough workflows.
