Create Rule Center Warning

A Rule Center Warning is a configurable exception created through Order Rules that:

  • Flags an order for manual review

  • Places the order in Needs Action – Rule Center Warning

  • Displays custom instructions to your team

This tool is designed for operational controls that require human intervention before shipment.

Rule Center Warnings do not automatically modify order data. They create structured visibility and workflow interruption.


Execution Model

Rule Center Warnings:

  • Apply at order import into ACP

  • Follow the standard Rule Center execution model (IF → THEN)

  • Must be Enabled + Saved to execute

  • Execute in importance order

Rules must be enabled prior to order import to affect new orders.

Warnings do not retroactively apply unless orders are intentionally re-run through the rules engine using the bulk action.


Creating a Rule Center Warning

  1. Navigate to Rule Center → Order Rules

  2. Click + Add Rule

  3. Configure rule conditions:

  • Order Attribute

  • Operator

  • Variable

  • Optional AND condition

  1. Set Action to:

  • Create Rule Center Warning

  1. Enter custom instruction text

  2. Enable the rule

  3. Click Save

Both Enable and Save are required.
