Ice Pack and Gift Message disabled for Pre-Pack JIT orders
Pre-Pack JIT orders are packed by the customer, so Wineshipping can't add ice packs or gift messages to them. When a JIT order has Service Type = Pre-Pack, the Add Ice Pack checkbox and the Gift Message text box are now disabled in ACP, with the tooltip "This option is not available for Pre-Pack JIT service. Please use Full-Service JIT."
Key Enhancements:
Existing orders: If a Pre-Pack JIT order already has an ice pack or a gift message, an exception is shown and the control stays enabled so you can remove the value. After you remove it, the control is disabled.
Switching service type: Changing Service Type to Full-Service enables both controls again.
API orders: Orders created or updated through the External API are not blocked. They are flagged with an exception instead.
Gift Message exception for Pre-Pack JIT orders
A Pre-Pack JIT order with a gift message now receives a Gift Message Exception (Incompatible Packing Type) with the message "Gift Message cannot be added if the order is pre-packed." The exception clears as soon as the gift message is removed.
The exception is available in the Status filter and the Latest Event column in the Action Center, in the Orders export, in the Description column on the Export Files page, and in the Order Event History.

Special Handling exception for Pre-Pack JIT orders
Wineshipping can't apply special handling to Pre-Pack JIT orders, because they are not opened at the warehouse. Such orders with one or more special handling options now receive a Special Handling Exception (Incompatible Service Type) with the message "Special handling option(s) cannot be added if the order is JIT pre-packed. Please change Service Type to Full-Service or remove selected special handling option(s)."
The exception clears when the order is re-validated after you change Service Type to Full-Service or remove the special handling options.
Existing orders are checked when they are edited or resubmitted.
The exception is available in the Action Center Status filter, Latest Event column and Orders export, and on the Export Files page.
In the Rule Center, the Add Special Handling tooltip now reads "This rule applies to Retail, Club, Passthrough and Just in Time (Full-Service) only.

Ice Pack exception for Giftbox and Woodbox packing
An ice pack can't be packed into a gift box or wood box. Orders that combine an ice pack with Giftbox packing or Woodbox packing special handling now receive a Special Handling Exception (Ice Pack Incompatible with Box Packing) with the message "Ice Pack cannot be added to the Giftbox or Woodbox packing. Please remove the Ice Pack or remove the box packing option." This way, these orders don't reach the warehouse.
The check covers ice packs from every source: the checkbox, Rule Center rules, bundles and Auto Add Ice Pack from Temperature Control. The exception clears when either the ice pack or the box packing is removed. It is available in the Action Center Status filter, Latest Event column and Orders export, and on the Export Files page.

Ice Pack exception now refers to Service Type
Since Packing Type was renamed to Service Type, the ice pack exception is now called Ice Pack Exception (Incompatible Service Type). The new name appears in View Order, the Action Center Status filter and Latest Event column, and the Export Files page.
Existing orders keep the old wording until they are re-validated. Filtering by the exception returns orders with both the old and the new name.
Ribbon wrapping options renamed to adhesive bows
The Ribbon Bottle Wrapping and Ribbon Box Wrapping special handling options are now called Apply Adhesive Bow To Bottle and Apply Adhesive Bow To Box. This better describes the service.
The new names appear in View/Edit Order, the Action Center, Open Orders, Order History, Create Physical Bundle and the Rule Center.
Existing orders, bundles and past event history entries keep the original names until the order or bundle is re-validated.
Filters and exports on the Special Handling column include orders with both the old and the new names.

Declared Item Weight field for items
You can now enter a Declared Item Weight (lb) for Wine, Merchandise, Supplies and Packaging items. This optional value is supplied by your organization and will be used to calculate package weight for JIT shipping labels. It is separate from the item weights that Wineshipping manages.
Key Enhancements:
Create and View flows: The field accepts values from 0.01 to 999.99 lb with up to two decimals. For wine items, it appears before How many Items per Wholesale Case?. For other item types, it appears after Value. When the field is empty, the View flow shows Info not provided.
Items grid: A new sortable Declared Item Weight (lb) column shows the saved value, or - when there is none.
Exports and templates: A new DeclaredItemWeightLb column is included in item exports and in the Create Multiple Items template.

New View and Edit flows for Marketing Materials, Packaging and Supplies
Marketing Materials, Packaging and Supplies items now open in the same View/Edit window as Merchandise items. Selecting an Item Number in the Items grid opens the item in read-only view. Users with edit permission can select the Edit icon to make changes and save them.
The window shows an Item Category box with the category's icon and description, plus the Deactivate Item action for users with permission.
Alcohol Classification is no longer shown for these item types. Packaging and Supplies items now show Number of items per case.
Validation rules, required fields and permissions stay the same.

Duplicate SKU check between items and physical bundles
Previously, you could create a regular item with the same SKU as an existing physical bundle, and orders could then expand that item into the bundle's components. Now, ACP blocks saving an item whose item number matches one of your physical bundle SKUs, on both create and edit.
Transportation Status for Just in Time, Inventory Delivery and Incoming Requests
You can now track the progress of Just in Time orders, Inventory Delivery (Return to Winery) orders and Incoming Requests (Purchase Orders) with Transport Method = Wineshipping Pickup without contacting support. The Transportation Status is updated automatically from the carrier's delivery events and can be Scheduled, In Transit, Delivered, Picked Up or Exception.
Key Enhancements:
Grid column: A new Transportation Status column appears after Transport Method in the grid.
View and Edit: A read-only Transportation Status field appears when you view or edit.
Exports: The column is included in both export formats.
Clearing: The status is cleared if the transport method changes to Drop-off or the request receives an exception.
Inventory Delivery (Return to Winery) orders with Transportation Status Incoming Requests (Purchase Orders) with Transportation Status
Address label matches the Transport Method
The address section on Incoming Requests now matches the selected transport method. It shows Pickup Address for Wineshipping Pickup and Drop-off Address for Drop-off, instead of Shipping Address. The label updates when you change the transport method, and the address details don't change.

OpenDock reminder only when an appointment is needed
The OpenDock warning banner no longer appears when you create an Internal Transfer, or an Incoming Request with Wineshipping Pickup. These deliveries don't need a client-scheduled appointment.
Instead, when you create a Drop-off Incoming Request of 10 or more cases, an OpenDock chip appears after you select Next. Its tooltip reads "WS Receiving requires an Opendock appointment for dropping off 10 or more cases." The chip also includes a link to OpenDock. The reminder doesn't stop you from creating the request.

Sentence case labels on Future Reservations and Inventory Movements
To keep labels consistent across ACP, buttons, tabs, column headers, filters and placeholders on the Future Reservations and Inventory Movements pages now use sentence case. For example, Create future reservation and Create movement.
