Shipping to Alabama

Alabama allows Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) wine shipments with an approved DTC permit.

However, wineries may also ship to an Alabama ABC store without a DTC permit.

This guide explains how to ship to an Alabama ABC store when no DTC permit is on file.

If You Have an Alabama DTC Permit

If your winery holds a valid Alabama DTC permit:

1. Ensure the permit number and expiration date are entered in ACP → DTC Permits.

2. Once recorded, orders may ship directly to the consumer.

3. No additional ABC store steps are required.

Failure to enter the permit may result in compliance holds.
